Barb’s experienceBarb comes with over 30 years of experience conducting workshops, coaching, and consulting all over the globe. In addition to working, Barbara has lived in a variety of countries including USA, India, Germany, Kenya, England, and Australia. Her experience includes the corporate, United Nations, NGO, government, and educational sectors. Corporate industries have mainly been in the IT, Bio-Tech, Transportation, and Banking worlds. In India the clients who have benefited from Barb’s interventions include Sungard, Cisco, SAP, Zensar, UNISYS, HP, P & O Nedlloyd and UNICEF to name a few.

Her background in education and leadership set the stage for understanding the foundations of adult learning and development. Having to leap tall hurdles herself, Barb took on a special interest of working with “Women in Leadership.” Barb’s training and work focus as much on individual behaviors as organizational structures and systems. Her broad range of experience has included serving as the Dean of Student Affairs at the United States International University in Kenya to facilitating discussions with government ministers and the United Nations in Afghanistan. Corporations all over the world appreciate her insights in “Crossing Cultures” and “Transformational Leadership.” Coaching often via Skype allows her to come face to face with clients in Australia, China, or Israel. Barb appreciates diversity and quality which is what you’ll find in the history of her many success stories. She continues to create R & R ~ relationships and results! An organized self-starter, Barb founded the international company “Bridge the Gap Consulting Inc” which partners with “Pragati Leadership.”Barb specializes in the areas of Leadership Development, Team Building, Crossing Cultures, Change, Communications, and Personality Profiles. Her special interests lie in Thought Leadership, Organizational Transformation, Personal Development, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Justice.

An avid reader, film buff, and wisdom seeker, the learning path never stops. She gives a great deal of her time to worthy causes like the “Pachamama Alliance.” Barb enjoys her life making new friends while working all over the globe with the goal of making a difference!
