Pragati’s initiatives outside of the corporate sectors are held by the Pragati Foundation www.pragatifoundation.org The board of directors comprises of distinguished members like Rati Forbes, Vijayan Krishnamurthy, Anu Wakhlu, Kuku Singh, Vijay Munshi and Arun Wakhlu.

A percentage of Pragati’s profits is earmarked for the Pragati Foundation.

The purpose of setting up this NGO was to cascade the process of good leadership practices and human development in the social sector also. Pragati Foundation is one of the few NGOs working in the area of Leadership Development for the social and development sectors. Pragati Foundation provides an opportunity for the team at Pragati Leadership Institute to fulfill its social responsibility towards the nation and the World.

Pragati Foundation is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960 and the Bombay Trust Act 1950.  Donations to the Foundation are tax exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.  Pragati Foundation is also registered under the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act (FCRA).
