D.T (Subhash) Devare

Subhash has a unique blend of HR experience of 25 years in both manufacturing and IT sectors. He is MA, MBA and LL.B. from Pune University and has worked in TELCO (Now Tata Motors), Grindwell Norton, TVS Electronics, PCL Mindware, and Apcosoft Infoway.

Having worked in the industry for a long time, Subhash has a good insight into the specific performance/attitude gaps, which he addresses and bridges through his training. He adopts a hands-on, practical approach blended with a strong conceptual foundation.

As a trainer he conducts workshops on Creativity and Innovation, Personal Effectiveness, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Communication/Presentation Skills, Interviewing skills, Emotional Intelligence and Team Synergy. He has also devised a number of games/exercises on Communication and Team Working.

Based in Bangalore, he has handled HR consultancy for over 20 IT and manufacturing organisations since 1999.

His professional achievements are in the areas of Manpower Planning and Recruitment, HR policies and systems, Performance Management, Organization Development, Compensation Systems and Training and Development.

During his illustrious corporate career, he had designed programmes on Group Dynamics, Creativity and Assertiveness to suit his organization's requirements. Subhash has been a visiting faculty at institutions such as IIM-Bengaluru, HRD Network and Ahemdabad Management Association. During 1993-95, he was the president of National HRD Network, Bangalore.
