Vishwas Datye

After working for thirty-five years in the industry [31 years in Philips] and exploring numerous cultures, diverse areas of business activity, Vishwas Datye retired from Philips and then got associated with Pragati Leadership Institute as one of the senior consultants. Before retirement, for 15 years he was working as general manager / unit head / business head. His last assignment was in China as Head of one of the Philips plants.

Although he operated as a practicing business manager during his tenure, he also pursued the call of his heart by conducting training workshops within Philips, in India and overseas. He is an avid trainer in many aspects of Total Quality Management and Management Development.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a diploma in Business Management. He has a good sense of business analysis, data based management and effective communication and is known for his conceptual clarity, out of box thinking, initiative and high focus on customer needs and business results.

With his experience and this unique combination of exposure, Vishwas is well placed to deliver the objectives effectively to the audiences across industries.

After joining hands with Pragati Leadership Institute, Vishwas has done Leadership and Management Development workshops in India and abroad for ACC, Bajaj Finance, BlueStar, Biostadt, Deutsche Bank, Foseco, Gherzi Eastern, HSBC GLT [India and China], Lubrizol, Philips, RCF, Sasol [South Africa], SEW Eurodrive, SKF, Sungard, T-Systems, TC Springs, Taj Hotels, Tata Power, Tata Toyo, Varroc Engg., Voltas [India], Voltas [Qatar] and Voltas [Dubai]. RBI is in pipeline.
